Claire Kirk, MSW Intern

Claire comes to us as a graduate student in her practicum placement for the Smith College School for Social Work. She received her bachelor’s degree in dance and psychology from Smith College in 2023.

Claire uses a somatic-informed approach in her work. She is passionate about working with LGBTQ+ identifying individuals, individuals with intersectional identities, and utilizes trauma informed practices. Mind and body connection is a pillar of Claire's process. With a background in dance, she is also interested in exploring Dance and Movement Therapy upon completion of her masters degree.

She has worked closely with Siloam, a non-profit organization, geared towards improving quality of life for those living with HIV/AIDS in center city Philadelphia, PA. Her engagement with the non-profit sparked Claire's commitment to building space for marginalized people to feel heard and supported.
