Melanie Taub LCSW

Melanie is a Licensed Certified Social Worker who brings a warm, collaborative, and trauma-responsive approach to therapy.

They have clinical experience supporting adolescents, young adults, and college-aged students through identity exploration, life transitions, and the lived experience of being neurodivergent in a neurotypical world. Melanie also has a strong background in crisis support and intervention, offering steadiness and attunement during difficult or overwhelming moments.

Their work is grounded in Internal Family Systems (IFS), psychodynamic theory, and relational practice, with space for creativity, playfulness, and expressive approaches when helpful. Melanie believes healing happens when people feel seen rather than fixed, and they strive to create a grounded, compassionate space where clients can build self-trust, connect with inner resources, and move toward a life that feels genuine and sustainable.

Melanie practices from a Health at Every Size (HAES)-aligned and body-affirming lens, honoring each person’s relationship with their body without pathologizing size, shape, or food experience.

Outside the therapy space, Melanie enjoys tabletop role-playing games, quiet reading corners, and exploring new coffee shops for cozy inspiration.
